'The best laid schemes..............'

So much for concentrating on speed. 

I managed the week before last to get a couple of sessions in where I was concentrating on speed.  However, last Saturday while having a steady run through the woods near my home I managed to trip over a tree root, taking a heavy fall and cracking a couple of ribs in the process.

The plan now is to have a couple of jog/walk sessions and gradually, but as quickly as possible (is that a contradiction in terms?) get back on track.
