Out of thin air

I have recently finished reading 'Out of Thin Air' by Michael Crawley. this is an account of his living for 15 months in Ethiopia with a group distance runners. He endeavours to approach the subject from both an anthropological and a runners view point. The book gives insights into a world where there is an instinctive approach to running, where energy 'flows' between people and can be shared or stolen. As athletes train not only to be the best runners but through running to help improve their lives.
This book is a fascinating read
